Approaching the Castle

The titles of this track and the following one,
"Approaching the Castle," and "Bludgeoned by the Gate," are stolen from a previous band/concept developed by myself and my old friend Nat Perlof. The "Band" was called "Soft Batch," and the concept was slow, sludge-metal, with equal parts Slint and Spinal Tap. Somewhere in my archive drawers there are cassette recordings of improvised evil dueling acoustic guitars with mythical lyrics incorporating characters from Magic The Gathering™ Cards. Good times. :)
